Private collection, Wyoming

When he was 12 years old, Tucker Smith moved with his parents from Minnesota to the foot of the Wind River Range in Pinedale, Wyoming. The experience opened his eyes to the vast beauty of the West and its limitless subjects. He explored painting as a teen, but college and the job market urged him into computers. It would take eight years for him to realize he was destined for the easel. Today, Smith is known for his extraordinary scenes of wildlife and wilderness in the American West.
