Ross Stefan’s father worked in advertising in Milwaukee and was very supportive of his son’s artistic ambitions. At 13, Ross had his first art exhibition—a smash sellout. Six years later, the family moved to Arizona where Stefan studied before he headed out on his own. From his base in Tubac, Stefan pursued his interpretations of the people and landscapes of the Arizona desert.
