Conrad Schwiering discovered his affection for mountains and open spaces in his native Colorado, but when he attended college in Wyoming and saw the Tetons, he began what would prove to be a lifelong aesthetic affair. After a period of study at the Art Students’ League in New York and a stint in the service, Schwiering settled in Jackson, devoting his life and career to capturing the Tetons in every season and in every light.
