A lullaby in bronze, the soft curves of Allan Houser’s Singing Heart seem to flow from the song the mother sings to her swaddled child. Still awake, but barely, the child stares off into whatever dreamland his mother’s song creates. Mother and child are one, in patinated bronze, but Houser deftly sets off the blanket that encircles and unites them.
