Additional Details

Austin Barton had already established himself as a commercial illustrator when, in 1984, he began to concentrate on Western subjects in bronze. Specializing in cowboys and horses, Barton’s early life on the ranch in Oregon shines through in the accuracy of his depictions, his ability to capture action, and in his unique patinas, which impart a classical sensibility to acrobatic compositions like Attitude Adjustment.
